Hi Smuleans,
In this post I want to introduce you to Nikki Nemeyer. She’s one of the power users of Sing! Karaoke by Smule, and she has joined Smule back in September 2012. I interviewed her on Facebook, and I got really interesting answers from her, especially her cover with AdrianSings of Riptide (Vance Joy cover) by Taylor Swift blew my mind. It was an absolutely perfect cover – make sure to check it out! I already got to know her in April 2013 after I had joined the SINGTOPIA community group. Now she helps me with many things, for example having managed the last contests, creating images for this website and Sownloader, or her donations which keep this site alive for each Smule user. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for all your hard work that you did in the last years Nikki! And for all your help and support. You are a wonderful person who inspires me to work even harder on my projects.
Well, let’s get to the interview with her:
1. Tell us about yourself!
“Well in Smule I’m NikkiSongs, co creator of Singtopia! Community on Facebook, and creator of Singtopia! Musicians Lounge, Sing!es, and Sing!Radio! also on Facebook.
In real life I’m a high tech pediatric RN and a mom to two amazing boys!! I’m also an artist with a passion for music. I live in a beautiful town in upstate NY where I’m surrounded by lakes and mountains. I feel very fortunate to have Smule in my life, it has given me opportunities to connect with so many amazing people and the courage to do things I would have never done before. ?”
2. How did you come to the Smule community?
“I actually found MP first! After a little while on there Sing! App ads stared popping up so I downloaded it.”
3. What do you like at Smule?
“My favorite thing about Smule is the amazing way it brings people from all over the world together.”
4. Is there anything that you do not like at Smule?
“My user experience at Smule is not the typical member experience. Because I do so many behind the scenes things with communities and members. The only thing that stinks is the constant drama that cannot be escaped on social networking sites.”
5. What is your favourite performance?
“I have so many favorite perfs but I think my most favorite one I sang with AdrianSings
